Miracle Accomplished

I’m happy to report that January 2025 came and went without any serious disasters, water leaks, appliance breakdowns, or anything else at my home. It just went smoothly. That is what I have been praying for, and it truly is a miracle in light of what has come before.

Because of this miraculous lull, I was finally able to enjoy my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary in peace. These joyful occasions both come at the end of January each year, but they’ve been crowded out by stressful times for quite a while. This year, we got to throw a birthday party for her with friends and enjoy a little relaxation.

I hope I have learned what I needed to learn from the five previous Januarys. Those difficult times served to break off old parts of my stony heart and soften it into a more pliable state. I think that’s the true miracle that was accomplished by everything I’ve gone through. It’s not easy to change for the better.

I’ll write about how I have changed in a future post. For now, I will simply say that I am so thankful to Heavenly Father for blessing me with a peaceful January. I needed that. And I trust that I will be able to face new challenges with faith, hope, and charity toward all men.

This is the Deja Reviewer bidding you farewell until we meet again.
