Message movies can be powerful when done well. But they can be laughable when they miss the mark. That’s the message I hope to convey in this section I call Battle of the Message Movies.
This deserves its own section, distinct from the other Deja Reviews, because these films aren’t necessarily similar in style, story or structure, but they are most definitely similar in their messages. I’m not always going to judge one as being superior to another, but I do plan to simply shed some light on their silliness or give praise where it is due.
Without further ado, I present the battle of the message movies!
