I Painted a Picture

I am no artist. Words are my brushstrokes, and a blank piece of paper is my canvas. Writing has always been my strength and drawing my weakness. So it’s a rare feat when I take the time to paint a picture.

Although I’m not very good at drawing, I do love wordplay. Thus, I was recently inspired to paint a joke I came up with years ago. And this is the result:

 

I think it’s pretty funny, but few people I’ve shown it to in person seem to get the joke. Maybe the Internet is different. It probably helps if I explain beforehand that it is meant to be a joke. At an art show, people tend not to be looking for humor.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this silly art piece I created. If not, then I guess I bombed.
