I went a little overboard with my verbosity in the last few weeks, so I will be brief this time to balance it out a bit. There are many people I admire and respect, and Bill Whittle is one of them. He is a YouTuber who is able to consistently convey profound messages of hope in a way I can only dream of doing. And what’s more, he offers concrete actions we can take to turn hope into a reality.

I was particularly awestruck by a recent video he put out about one of my favorite movies of all time, Superman: The Movie. Whittle takes a single scene from that film and expounds upon it beautifully. He uses it as a jumping-off point for an expansive discussion grand in scope and personal in nature. This is an amazing example of what I would like to do in my own writing. I would love to be able to inspire and challenge people in the ways he does. The amazing thing is that no matter how far he goes in his discussion, he manages in the end to bring it back to the scene that he started from and tie it all together perfectly.
