Since 2014, I have written a lot of Cinematic Chiasmus articles. These explore the symmetry of individual films, trilogies, and even TV miniseries. I would like to present about 60 films (give or take) that mirror themselves in remarkable ways.
I know that all of these are already on my main Cinematic Chiasmus page, but they are not listed in a way that makes them super-easy to find on there. They are simply listed in the order they were published. I want to make it easier for you to find specific films, so I’ve put them in alphabetical order below.
A Few Notes About the List
I should mention that every film from 2014 to 2023 got an in-depth analysis that is quite long. Not only did I summarize the chiasmus at the start, but I also talked about each point of the comparison to reveal how they connected. Starting in January 2024 with Innerspace, I started doing mini-articles where I just included the summary. All the connections are still there to find, but I don’t explain them in minute detail.
This change was sad but necessary to avoid burnout and help me produce these articles faster.
One last note. Many of these films were suggested to me by my wonderful readers, so I can’t take full credit for them. Several of the summaries were even sent to me, though I expanded upon them. Now that I’ve explained all of this, on with the list!
